The Green Team is free. Individuals and Businesses that join agree to take actions to reduce energy consumption and save money.
We share our knowledge and actions with each other and keep a rolling, live record of our efforts on display.
The new store has two large LCD screens that keep up to the (5) second totals of the results of our efforts.
Been waiting for an energy policy from the city, state, feds that will save you money and not trash the environment? And now you’ve grown old? Wake up, Rip Van Winkle! It’s time to create that policy yourself.
A new kind of store is opening at 2807 Old Canton Road in Fondren on November 19 (Fondren Unwrapped), that doesn’t think we need to wait another minute on creating a clean and efficient and sustainable energy future. Rainbow Green Services will offer consulting on organic gardening and permaculture landscaping as well as home and business energy audits and carbon footprint reduction workshops. The store will stock the products that can reduce energy consumption and save money.
A key part of this new project is the Rainbow Green Services Green Team. The Green Team consists of individuals and businesses that want to take actions that save money and lower utility bills. Luke Lundemo, energy auditor for Green Services, says "The Green Team isn’t just free to join – it will save you money."
